Folks often ask… What does Lil’ Ponderosa feed their grass-fed cattle through the Winter months?

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, we believe this should suffice!

Lil’ Ponderosa Beef takes great pride in being a valued member of the PA Preferred’s Homegrown by Heroes program! As a distinguished U.S. Army Veteran, Uncle Bob cherishes the time he spent serving our country and considers it a significant influence on the core values that guide his ranch operations to this very day.

The term “GRASS ROOTS” gets thrown around quite a bit these days, often in the context of politics or economics. However, for a grass-based farming operation like Lil’ Ponderosa Beef in Carlisle, PA, the term takes on a whole new meaning!
